The village is near some key places for both fun and practical purposes. The regional administrative centre, Figueiro dos Vinhos is just 15 minutes away. For local shopping, you can drive 10 minutes to Avelar while more impressive shopping can be found in the ancient Coimbra, the Oxbridge of Portugal, 45 minutes away. Lisbon has everything you need and loads of shops that even include IKEA!

With its delightful centre and an amazing convent and castle, Tomar is a worthwhile 30-minute drive away.
A hospital and school are local to the village – there’s even a school bus that passes by for us!
