It’s positioned on the first range of the central mountains, on a hillside with stunning views. Just 5 minutes from a central east to west main road (IC8), 1 hour from the sea with mile after mile of dune-backed beaches, one hour from the Spanish border, 2 hours from Lisbon (1.5hours from the airport) and 2 hours to Porto. Please note that first-class motorways make a 2-hour drive a pure delight compared to the same in the UK!
